Within the limited set of NBA teams expected to extend invitations to Bronny James for pre-draft sessions, the Phoenix Suns are allegedly devising grandiose plots to enlist LeBron James.

Whispers of LeBron’s potential transition to Phoenix started surfacing, with NBA insider Shams Charania mentioning that the Suns plan to conduct a pre-draft trial for Bronny.

“Leading up to the June NBA Draft, the Phoenix Suns are scheduled to host Bronny James for a trial, as per sources,” Charania divulged on X. “Possessing the 22nd pick, Phoenix is considering him among various prospects. With invitations to more than ten tryouts, Bronny is expected to meet with only a select few teams, which include the Lakers and Suns.”

In addition to the circulating rumors, NBA correspondent Evan Sidery recently suggested that the Suns are seriously pondering Bronny’s inclusion on their team as a strategic move to also lure LeBron.

“The Suns are targeting LeBron James for their roster in the upcoming offseason, which is why they see Brontron Bronny James as a credible option for their 22nd selection in the draft, aiming to use him as bait,” Sidery revealed on X.

“Convinced they can persuade LeBron to join forces with stars such as Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal, Phoenix envisions creating a never-before-seen supergroup.

“LeBron would be departing from nearly $50 million next season if he were to genuinely consider joining the Suns under a veteran’s minimum agreement.

“Is it within the Suns’ strategic plan to secure both LeBron and Bronny as their ultimate maneuver? It is decidedly up for contemplation.”

After a disappointingly early departure from the playoff’s opening stage, it’s clear Phoenix is in need of a rejuvenated approach.
