Following a 113-105 defeat to the Lakers, the Warriors’ unpredictable home-away performance remains consistent, even with their leader Steph Curry making a comeback from injury.
Golden State currently boasts a record of 27-7 at their home court and 7-24 on the road. The recent loss in LA has led them to be tied with Milwaukee for the second-highest number of home victories, while also sharing the same amount of road wins as Detroit, amounting to the third-lowest.
In reflection on the loss, Curry recognized the team’s struggles with injuries recently but remains confident in their capacity to deliver results.
“We are dealing with a lot on our plate, but we must maintain a positive outlook on our future path because until we are defeated, we remain a formidable adversary for anyone,” mentioned Curry. “That self-assurance is essential as we progress towards the playoffs.”
Curry, sidelined for the last 11 games due to a leg injury, managed to contribute significantly with 27 points, two rebounds, six assists, and some remarkable three-pointers.

He had a modest performance, going 5-13 from beyond the arc and shooting 8-20 from the field, indicating signs of rustiness after his prolonged absence.
“I felt excellent,” Curry expressed. “Playing 32 minutes was intense, and I sensed an increase in my vigor as the game progressed.”
The accomplished NBA star remains resolute in his team’s capabilities, holding the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a 34-31 record.
“It may sound contradictory: We are still focused on winning championships while also striving to avoid the play-in tournament. Both objectives are equally important.”
