According to Business Insider, UFC fighter Conor McGregor was mercilessly defeated Khabib Nurmagomedov in last year’s UFC 229, and UFC President Dana White says they should have a rematch this year.
UFC 229 was marred by riots and fights immediately after the fight’s end and both fighters are still currently waiting for a decision in a disciplinary hearing conducted by the Nevada State Athletic Commission onJanuary 29th.
If their suspensions don’t extend too long, White says he can’t see why another flight can’t be negotiated fro later in 2019. This week, White told TMZ Sports, “I think a lot of people want to see that fight.”
