Germany’s Francesco Friedrich managed to win World Cup two-man bobsled gold medal, which is his second, but very closely holding off Latvia’s Oskars Kibermanis. Friedrich and brakeman Martin Grothkopp were way lots faster indeed in comparison with Kibermanis and Matiss Miknis in the initial run and even faster in the second run. The winning timing of Frendrich time was 1 minute, 40.25 seconds, slightly crossing Kibermanis and the 1:40.31 that he managed on his home track.
The German bobsledder Francesco Friedrich has been active in the game since 2006. Olympic champion Mariama Jamanka along with Annika Drazek managed to bag the first World Cup women’s bobsled race of this season on Friday. And Friedrich along with Alexander Schueller managed to win the season-opener of the two-man bobsled race on Saturday.
